I had the honor of meeting Leona at my job at Specialty. She was such a sweet and loving person. I loved spending time with her and hearing her laugh. She had such a bright smile even on the days she wasn't feeling well. She was always concerned with how I was feeling. I will miss her terribly. Its the residents like her that make me love my job. To her family, my heart is broken for y'all but I know that she is now rejoicing and finally pain free in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. Bless you all and know that y'all are all in my thoughts and prayers. To Noel and Carla, it was my honor and absolute pleasure to be apart of all the video chats we were able to do in these last few months. I will be forever grateful for having met all of you. 

I had the privilege of spending childhood with my oldest sister Leona. I always admired her and wanted to be just like her. Our lives took us in different directions, but we still stayed in touch and had good times together.
Leona was a family-oriented person. She loved and lived for family. She was an excellent example of Christlike love. 
Leona, you live on in my heart forever.

Leona was like a 2nd Mother to me growing up.  She had a spunky personality and could always make us laugh.  We would always laugh, until we cried with her.  She was Blessed with 6 beautiful children of her own, who all loved her dearly. She will always hold a place in my heart.

Our bond goes deep, it’s difficult to put into words..Thank you for instilling so many values that I needed, to be the woman I am today... Leona and I shared school together from third grade until graduation. 
We spent our time as not only sisters but as friends. 
I always enjoyed my visits to Florida to see her. She was always a gracious host full of care and love. 
Her sense of humor was a joy. She'd say the funniest things and we'd laugh together. 
She was always a pleasant person and got along with everyone.
I love her dearly and miss her. 
One day we will share those laughs again.
