Joseph Ramsey Rainwater

Joseph was born in Pensacola, FL on June 3, 1947, to Brown and Ibba Rainwater.

Joseph retired from Coca Cola as Vice President General Manager and served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. He was a one time US champion skeet shooter. Joseph loved fishing, hunting and photography. He had a love of music and was a fantastic drummer.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Eunice Murphy and brother-in-law, Mike Murphy.

Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 54 years, Alice M. Rainwater; daughter, Fitcher Lee (Drew) Rainwater-Pyritz; grandson, Corey Lee Rainwater-Pyritz; bonus son, Jonathan Kemp; sister, Sally Rainwater Pilati; sisters-in-law, Ann Burns and Jill Murphy; nieces, Tina (Eric) Stevens, Ticia Pilati and Cathy Burns; nephew, Tad Pilati; great nieces, Alex Stevens and Annalise Guyer; great nephews, Luke Stevens, Vincent Pilati and Caleb Guyer; special friends Conrad Velazquez and family and his beloved cat, King Andouille Sassafras.

Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
