I should have done this long time ago but today in this moment you came up in conversation. When I get older I'm going to look exactly like you. I remember when I was little little and I used to visit you at your job coastal services, and I also remember playing golf with you I miss you papa and I know that you're smiling down on me in heaven you're in my thoughts always sleep with the angels

What wonderful memories that Jeni, Mechelle and I have of your family!  Our life on Frances Drive was full of your family.  What would I have done if John had not put together the Christmas toys for the girls?  And, helped me get my car started when I couldn't?  I can still see him now coming home and getting out of his car and going through the gate.  I think the greatest thing about John Melvin's life on this earth is that he loved his family and he took care of them.  Those are wonderful memories to hold on to.
