She was born in Fairfield, Conn., the daughter of Hungarian immigrants, and resided in Pensacola for many years.
She was the widow of George E. Hunter Sr, a native of Pensacola.
She is survived by a son, George E. (Buddy) Hunter Jr. and wife, Suzanne Lee Hunter, a daughter Yolan A. Hunter. She has two grandsons, Robert Scott Hunter, and Timothy Lee Hunter. She has five great granddaughters. Amelia, Bailey and Gentry, Olivia and Georgia.
She retired from the State of Florida Health and Rehabilitation services after 20 years. She also volunteered for the USO at the Pensacola Airport for several years.
Following her retirement, she was very active in her garden and enjoyed going to estate, yard and garage sales looking for those special items to buy. She enjoyed a long a productive life.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
