Jack Irwin Barberi

Jack Irwin Barberi, 69, of Pensacola, FL passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born to Anthony (Tony) Barberi and Abbie Eunice Barberi (nee: Irwin) on August 4, 1946 in Pensacola, Florida. Jack, a Journeyman Machinist at Westinghouse for 31 years, was a respected employee valued for his strong work ethic and professional expertise. He developed many lifelong friendships throughout his career. More importantly, he had a thirst for life and an abundant amount of love for his family and friends.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Bibiana Barberi (nee: Bloski); his parents; brother, George Barberi; sister, Janet Melvin and grandchildren, Joseph and Malachi Barberi.

He is survived by his daughter, Telka (Richard); sons, Anthony, Dominic (Maribel), John (Melissa), and Gabriel (Marina); brothers, Raymond and Ronald (Rusty) Melvin; sister, Shirley Whitehead; and many grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday, February 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola, FL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 9945 Hillview Drive, Pensacola, FL 32514. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
