Herbert A. Jernigan, Sr.

He was born July 12, 1934 in Pensacola, Florida to Albert Edward Jernigan and Evelyn Thompson Jernigan. He served in the U. S. Army. Herbert became a journeyman plumber for Union 234 the Plumber and Steamfitter Union and is a member of Pine Terrace Baptist Church.

Herbert is survived by his wife, Sorita Jernigan; daughter, Cindie Lipe, husband Mark and their children, Jessie Lipe, Kennedy Lipe, Oakleigh Lipe and Jade Ritcheson husband Auston and their daughter, Houston Ritcheson; daughter, Lori L. Dickey, husband David and their children, Zach Dicky, Aubrey Dicky, Mason Dicky and Jaxson Dicky; son, Herbert Albert Jernigan, Jr., wife Nancy and their children, Thomas Jernigan and Lauren Jernigan.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 02, 2020 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with services immediately following. Interment will be in Bayview Memorial Park.
