He had a lifelong interest in science. He was a huge fan of the Space Program and in the 60's whenever there was a launch; he was allowed to be late for school to view the launch. His technical knowledge and skill eventually led to his employment with Hobart Corporation.
Hank was a ham radio operator and loved this hobby. He enjoyed building projects, and writing computer programs for use in ham radio. He was a member of and an active participant in The Five Flags Amateur Radio Club of Pensacola. He also had a love of photography which started in high school and continued as he assisted his wife in her photography and artwork.
Hank has been married to Mitzi Presley Holt since 2001. They were classmates in high school and became reacquainted after their Washington High School 25 year class reunion.
