IN THE CARE OF
Gertrude Merritt, 77, died May 30, 2017 peacefully at her home in Pensacola, Florida. Gertrude was born on December 12th, 1939 to John Peeterse and Myrtle Buffkins Peeterse in Pensacola, Florida.
She is preceded in death by her late husband William A. Merritt, Sr. She is survived by her 2 sons, Rusty Merritt and Susan of Dallas, Texas, Michael Merritt and Cathy of Pensacola, Florida along with her grandchildren Danielle Merritt Ballard and Paul of Pensacola, Florida and Michael Holmes and family of Sweetwater, Tennessee.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, reading books, video games and most of all enjoyed her family.
