Mr. Miller was born June 27, 2018 in Buffalo, New York to Joseph M. Miller and Helen Borcher Miller. Following his service in the U.S. Navy he moved to Pensacola. He became a police officer with the Pensacola Police Department where he served the citizens of Pensacola for 30 years retiring 12 years ago. Skip loved golf and enjoyed fishing and western movies. He was a loving father and grandfather, who enjoyed cooking Thanksgiving dinner for his family every year.
Skip is survived by his sons, Anthony Miller and wife Cheri of Selma, OR and Wesley Miller and wife Amanda Thomas of Cantonment, FL; brother and sisters, Joe, Bonnie, Ellen, Irene, and Monica; grandchildren, Brooke, Shila, Levi, Megan, Zanna and Alvin.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 05, 2018 followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel.
Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
