Eloise Cook, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, December 02, 2014. She was born on October 08, 1923, in Columbus, Georgia, to Jesse Lee and Fletcher Giles and was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister and her beloved husband, Jack. She was absolutely devoted to him, the love of her life, for 70 years. Her family was always the center of her life and together she and Jack provided a nurturing home that was a solid foundation to their girls. Eloise was a faithful Christian and a member of Plainview Baptist Church for 57 years. She actively taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. Art was Eloise’s passion throughout her life. She was a charter member of Quayside Art Gallery, downtown Pensacola, and was an award winning watercolorist. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Dr. Marilee Caldwell and Kathy and Bill Robinson. She was “Nonnie” to grandchildren, Jack Walther and Missy King; Allison and Matt Harper; Jaclyn and Marcus Jarman; Rick and Cole Robinson and six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Madalyn, Parker, Peyton and Carter Jarman, and Brooke Robinson. Eloise loved her special caregivers, Peggy and Valerie, and they loved and cared for her like their own Mom. Our family thanks them for all they did to make her life so comfortable. Services will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Saturday, December 06, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Bill Flanigan officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. BAYVIEW FISHER-POU CHAPEL, 3351 Scenic Highway is entrusted with arrangements.
