Dorothy met and married her husband Thomas Halstead in the early 70’s. She worked for Monsanto for 35 years and after her husband’s passing, she became a member of the Widowers Club of Molino. She enjoyed collecting Crystal, especially Waterford Crystal. She had a passion for gardening, quilting, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, and needlework. She also loved to go to the Casinos and decorate her house and yard for Christmas causing many traffic jams in rural Molino for all those that loved to stop and look. Dot also had a great love for her many Dachshunds she had in her lifetime. Her favorite thing to do was to spoil all her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Halstead, parents Orville and Alta Cowling, sister Mary Alice Lee and Nephew Michael Hoyt Cowling.
