Dorothy “Dot” Fuller Ard, 83, of Pensacola Florida passed away June 27, 2022.
Dot was born on September 29, 1938 to William Walter Foley and Perlie Carrol Foley, in Wallace Florida.
Dot enjoyed being outdoors. She was an avid fisherman, known to be better than some of her male friends and family. In her spare time, Dorothy was known for going on cruises and seeing new places. In her spare time she was an avid gardener. Dot worked for many years as a Manager in the Department Store Retail Industry. Dot was a member of Pinehaven Baptist Church. She will most be remembered for her loving demeanor and always wanting to care for others.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, John Calvin Fuller and John Ard; son, James Ricky Fuller; five brothers, Arthur Foley, Richard Eugene Foley, Leroy Foley, Alford Foley, Billy Joe Foley, and her mother and father.
Survivors include, her son John David Fuller (Betty); sister, Ruth Cook; special friend, Merona Clark; grandchildren, David Matthew Fuller (Stacey), Shawna Fuller Dupuis, Jonathan Bryan Fuller, Shaun Daniel Fuller (Summer), Shannon Nicole Fuller (Thomas); great grandchildren, Mercedes Deanna Fuller, Matthew Hunter Fuller, Michael Joseph Dupuis, Kaydence Lillie Fuller, Elijah James Fuller, Lily Grace Fuller, Easton Colt Fuller, Layla Jeanne Fuller, Camden Rhett Oglesby, Cohen Riley Oglesby, Case Brooks Oglesby; great great grandchildren, Ryan Lee Hager, Hunter Grayson Fuller, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation and Celebration of Dot’s Life will take place on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 10:30 am at Eastern Gate Funeral Home, 1985 W. 9 Mile Road, Pensacola, Florida 32534. Funeral Services will follow beginning at 11 am at Eastern Gate.
