Delores L. Carter (69) of Palatka, Florida, died May 29, 2019 in Fairhope, Al. Delores was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. Delores was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she was primary teacher. She loved teaching the children of the church and guiding them along their journey to become young adults.
Delores was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lorna Mitchell and Josh Arnold Mitchell as well as her sister, Connie Reed.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Ray Miller; two daughters, Regina Syphurs (James) and Jennifer Klous; brother, Dee Mitchell (Valin); sister, Anita Reed; six grandchildren, John Miller, Darin Voght (Maranda), Aleigha Brooks (James), Christopher Miller, Dalton Miller, Gabriel Miller; and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 06, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 9490 Foxrun Rd, Pensacola, FL 32514 with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
