Carolyn was born in Paul, Alabama. She was the daughter of Gertrude Frazier and Cecil Nathanial Potts. She graduated from Pensacola high school. She was a member of Windy Hill Baptist Church and loved attending church with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being with her family, gardening, and going on trips with her husband.
She is survived by her children, David McInturff, Lesa Rowe, Brenda Lykins, and Jamie Walls, and her grandchildren, Sean McInturff, Katie McInturf, Breanna Lykins, Austin Lykins, Christine Rowe, John Rowe, III, Dylan Vorrasi, Bella Vorrasi, and Angela Walls; brother Johnnie Potts, nephew Jason Potts and his wife Stephanie and their son Micheal, also her very close family friends Veda Durden, Larry Kendrick, Ricky Skaggs, James Sasser, and all of her fellow church members.
Carolyn was an honorable woman for her self-drive and for always taking care of her family before herself, and will always be remembered for it.
