1959 - 2013

Brenda Reena Thompson, 53,of Pensacola, FL, widow of Daniel Ray Thompson went to be with her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013.

She was born Oct.3, 1959 the daughter of Ralph Swanson and Bobbie Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 24 years. She was a small business owner for most of her life. Left to cherish her memory are her children Angela (William) Vandervort, Brian (Leslie) Mead, Rachel Thompson, and Travis Bell(nephew) who was like a son. She has 10 grandchildren and one on the way to continue her legacy of love; two brothers, three sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a special friend Ed Jennings who will miss her love and joy.

Her children ask all her family and friends to join them in celebrating her life. Viewing is Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at Scenic Bay Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. She is no longer leaning on her Lord, she is now with him.
