Audrey entered this world on Sept. 9, 1929 in Pensacola Florida to her loving parents James and Irene Dickson. Audrey is predeceased in death by her parents, her siblings - brothers Earl, Harvey, Bruce, Marvin and James Dickson, sisters Hattie Hancock and Helen Cooperider, her husband of 61 years Eugene Elmer Gill and their youngest child, Denise Loyd. She leaves behind her only living sibling Hazel Eckerle. Audrey's memories are deeply cherished by her daughters Karen Miller (Jim), Sheila Hodges (Steve), Corine Gideons (Syd), Sandy Sapp Rhoden and her only son Perry Gill. Her loving grandchildren - Kathy (Rob), Jimmy (Jana), Jon (Kelly), Justin, Jessica, Louie, Steven (Honorea), Kerri (Justin), Natasha (Jay), Josh, Heather, Krista (Mike), April (Deah), John (Savannah), Sarah (Jon), Bryce, Rachel (Chris), Triston and her many great grandchildren. Audrey was a Navy wife of 26 years. She retired from the Navy Exchange working in customer service and previously worked at Zayre Dept. store. Audrey enjoyed her large family and loved visits from them. She enjoyed crocheting, reading true crime novels and watching Shark Tank and the news on tv. She will be missed, but never forgotten, by every life she touched.
Family and friends are encouraged to join in a celebration of Audrey's life at Oak Lawn Funeral Home on Thursday Sept. 28th. A visitation from 11:30am-12:30pm with a funeral service at Oak Lawn lead by Keith Mott at 12:30pm with interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
