Agnes Loretto Keller was born July 7, 1921 and passed into the arms of Jesus on January 25, 2018. She was born in Baltimore, Md and passed her love of seafood and crabs to her family. She married and raised 3 children with her Navy husband, Joseph Keller. Many times she had to be mom and dad while our dad was on sea duty around the world. They transferred to Pensacola in 1969, where she would spend the rest of her life. She sold Avon, worked at Gayfers, then worked for the Escambia County School System as a secretary dealing with Special Education. Even after retirement she was active in her church, Little Flower, sold antiques and was busy making crafts and playing bunco and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Joseph Keller, her sister and brother-in-law, Alberta and Paul Ashburn, and brother-in-law, Clyde Dinsmore. She is survived by her remaining sister, Charlotte Dinsmore, son, Edwin Keller, daughter Sharon Singleton, and daughter Denise (Jerry) Reavis; grandchildren Renee (Dan)Turley, Michelle (Dave) Kneale, Neil (Meghan )Singleton, Eddy Keller, Kevin (Adrienne) Keller, Amanda (Lavon) Abercrombie, Melanie Reavis, and Melinda (Jason) Speed along with numerous great-grandchildren. She will be missed by family and friends near and far.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 30 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral mass services will be on 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31 at the Basilica of St. Michaels. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery immediately following the funeral mass.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Little Flower Rose garden.
