He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Franklin; son, Jake Franklin (Meagan); three step-sons, Anthony Schell (Suzy), Jeffery Schell (Maria), and Ricky Donahoo (April); six grandchildren, Wreyn, Sarah, Savannah, Kevin, Caden, and Conner; two great-grandchildren, Shylah and Will; sister, Tracy Bergman (John).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Patty Franklin; two brothers, Mark Franklin and Rex Franklin.
A visitation for Mr. Franklin will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1:00pm with a service following in the chapel starting at 2:00pm. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Pell City, Al.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Fund.
