Rip dad I'm sorry I wasn't there but I didn't know I would have been there if I would have known 

My husband and I have worked with Donnie for 20 years. He gave 2 young realtors a chance. He taught us a lot. He was a hard worker, up early and on it. He could build a quality house faster than any builder we have ever seen. He has built some beautiful homes in his lifetime. Through the years we will all learned to work together well. We were a good team and we have some great memories. We started out as his agents, we ended up as friends.  Sometimes people would think I was Donnie's sister or Greg was his brother because he would love to tease with us like brothers and sisters do.  It makes me smile to think about the early days, when we had our Nextel phones, at 5:30 am every morning, we would get a wake up call. "Rise and Shine, the Construction crew gets up early!" We would clear our throat and act like we had been up, "Get out of that bed you sleepy heads. Have you sold my house yet?" Donnie, the foundation has just been laid, no we haven't sold it yet.  Then he would jokingly say, " I'am gonna fire you before I hire you!"  ; - )  Donnie excelled at everything he did. In his younger years he was Champion Hot Rod drag racer. A successful builder and a Champion Quarter Horse Breeder.    About ten years ago he gave his life to Christ.  He realized he was a sinner,like we ALL are, and asked Jesus to forgive him . He was not a perfect man (none of us are), but he was a forgiven man. We saw a difference in his life. He joined a church, served in that church using his talents for the Lord. He went overseas on missions trips. He built orphanages in other counties.  Donnie's  greatest pride and joy was his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of every one of them and spoke of them often, beaming with pride. He also adored  his fiance',  Donna .  We are all broken over this tragic loss but we have to remind ourselves that  Donnie is more alive today than he ever was before! Happy Birthday in Heaven Donnie, we sure miss you! I was so shocked to hear about Donnie's death.He had just finished my new home. It was such a pleasure to do business with him. Having just lost my husband l didn't know what I would have to deal with in getting a new house built. Donnie did everything he said he would when he said he would and built me a beautiful home. He was very kind and truthful. To Donna  and the rest of the family  he always spoke highly of you and loved his family.
 






Jill & I appreciated your friendship and the opportunities we had with working with you throughout the years. Until then, we await the day to see you again in heaven my friend. We love you. 

I did not know DJ's father, but I know he raised a fine son who is married to a wonderful lady, Tiffany. His grandsons,  Brendan and Brycen will miss him very much. Our hearts go out to each of you.  Danny cried when he read DJ's message to his father.  A testimony as to what a great father he was. Love and prayers for healing.  Tracey and Danny 

You will be missed Donnie! I’ll always remember your smile when I wore the “Don’t make me go Beth Dutton on you” tee shirt! We all had such a great laugh over it! You were a little quiet when we first met you but as we got to know you your kindness and wonderful joy for life came through! Go rest high up on the mountain my friend! We’ll all meet again one day!

I knew Donnie through work.  He was always kind, Gracious and helpful.  Our day was always brighter when Donnie came to visit.  So sorry for your loss.  He will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Donnie was a mentor to me, teaching me  all aspects of reading blue prints and building houses. He never held back and was very outspoken. I enjoyed 10 years of working with him and I know he will be missed.

Dad, this is the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. I'm lost without you and will never be the same again. But I accept this misery knowing that you are now pain free and filled with joy in Heaven. You were always there for me and I'm only who I am today because of you. Your strength is now helping me to do everything as you would have me to. I'd give anything for one last hug. I love you Dad!

My prayers go out to the family. Even though we had not seen each other in many years we were family. God bless yall during this difficult time.
