Virginia Mitchell Lee, age 82, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014. She was a loving wife of 52 years, a devoted mother and grandmother, and a good friend. She was born in 1932 in New Albany, MS to Charles Summers Mitchell and Dorothy Beaty Mitchell.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Lee, Jr.; her parents; her sister, Dorothy Latady; and her brother, Charles Mitchell, MD. She is survived by two sons, John E. Lee, III (Amber) and Steven Mitchell Lee (Kimberly); three grandchildren, Savannah, Abigail and Preston.
Virginia was a member of P.E.O. sisterhood, Chi Omega Sorority and an avid bridge player.
