I have such fond memories of Tom...he was my first boss at South Central Bell when I moved to Birmingham in 1973.  He was loved by all on his staff.  I was happy to be able to rekindle our relationship a couple of years ago when Bonnie and I joined Dawson.  It will not be the same each Sunday morning as I enter the sanctuary and not see Tom sitting in the first pew...

Mr. Rankin has been such an example of Christain servant hood throughout my years at Dawson serving in Sunday School, VBS, and choirs. So personable with a welcoming smile, quick humor, and genuine interest in each of us! Prayers for his children and grateful for his legacy that lives on in them and each life he touched in ministry!

Mr.Rankin, my 5th grade Sunday School teacher,was truly a fine gentleman and godly man. I am blessed to call him friend. Condolences to the family.

Mr. Rankin and his wife were always such a strong example of a Godly marriage and greeted all of Brian's friends with love. A wonderful family. Bless all if you.
