Bob passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on April 28, 2023, in Alabaster, Alabama.
He was born in Ohio on June 22, 1942, to his loving parents Millard Rice and Dorothy Lusk, who have preceded him. Bob is also preceded by his loving wife Janet Rice and brother Marvin Rice.
He is survived by his daughters, Susan Praolini (Emilio) and Rebecca Geimer (Marlin) and sons, Robert Rice II (Jennifer) and Travis Rice (Stephanie); sisters, Judy McGinnis and Linda Keelin (Tom); grandchildren Ashley La Pan (Adrian), Allison Buck (Josh), Genevieve Cann, Nicole Mitchell (Matt), Robert Rice III (Jillian), Alyssa Rice, Julia Rice, Adam Rice, Jacob Rice, and Kaitlynn Rice; several great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and many family and friends.
He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He loved singing praises about Jesus and sharing God’s love to everyone, even complete strangers.
