Richard Jay Dunham, age 84, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away February 17, 2021. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 11, 1937 to the late, George J. Dunham, Jr. and Janet Rothwell Dunham. Richard Jay Dunham attended Boston University and graduated from Manilas Military School. He was married to Clara Powell Dunham on October 26, 1961. Richard had a career in sales for Rockline Industries, Dick Dunham & Associates. He had a passion for Golf and serving his Lord Jesus Christ. He was devoted to his wife, Clara, his children and four grandchildren.
He was survived by Kim Dunham Murphy (Derrick), Kevin Dunham, Richard Cavallaro (Lisa); grandchildren, Austin Murphy, Davis Murphy, Molly Yeagley (Bryan), Peter Cavallaro; his brother, George Jay Dunham, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George J. Dunham, Jr., and Janet Rothwell Dunham; his sister, Junia Dunham Gilbert and his brother, John Sartwell Way, Jr.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at Metropolitan Church of God on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 11:00 am followed by visitation at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Metropolitan Church of God Missions.
