Mary Louise Selby Woodard, 56 of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. Louise graduated from Berry High School. She was in the banking and mortgage business in Birmingham, spending 17 years at First Commercial Bank. Most recently, Louise shared her love of animals by working at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic.
Mrs. Woodard is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Mary Selby. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ron Woodard; brother-in-law, Don Woodard; sister-in-law, Linda Woodard; nephew, Matt Woodard; niece, Lindsay Woodard; and cousins, Molly Selby, Laura Selby, Susan Davis (Russell), and Lisa Pradat (Johnny). Louise also leaves behind her dearly loved dogs, Sadie (West Highland Terrier) and Ashley (Weimaraner). They were her life.
The celebration of Louise’s life will be at 1pm on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. A reception in memory of Louise will follow the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
