A Celebration of Lisa's Life will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Altadena Valley Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, with a reception at the church to follow the service.
Lisa earned her counseling degree from Belhaven University. Her professional career spanned several years in human resources. A member of the board of trustees for God's House Kindergarten, she enjoyed working with physically and mentally challenged people through organizations like Rooftop Friends. She also worked for Life on Wheels as a patient advocate.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Michael Patrick Bodkin, whom she married on March 4, 2000; their children, Joshua Patrick Bodkin (21), Conor John Bodkin (20), and Olivia Carolyn Bodkin (12); two sisters, Sara Hibbard Hayes of Pennsylvania and Meredith Hibbard Boye of Delaware; and one brother, Phillip Hibbard of Delaware.
