Laura Ford Ledford was born on August 1st, 1960 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Laura was married to her dear husband of 20 years, Dewey Ledford. Laura enjoyed giving to those in need, spending time with her grandsons and family, putting a yard sale together and going to the casino. Most of all, she loved cheering on the Crimson Tide.
Laura Ford Ledford was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Lawton. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dewey Ledford; her children, Misty Ford, Mary Ford, Stanley Ledford (Gena) and Randall Ledford (Amy); grandchildren, Chase Ford, Stephen Jacks, Madison Ledford, Tyler and Jake Ledford; great-grandchild, Cooper McCrary; two sisters, Jeanette Lawton and Linda Keifer (Bill); extended family, Darin Pruitt, Karen Woodrome (Larry), Nina Womack (Bobby) and Denise Amero.
A visitation for Laura will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Redemption Church at K-Springs Cemetery, 4176 County Road 39, Chelsea, Alabama 35043.
