Katheryn Hinson Neeley

Katheryn Hinson Neeley, age 68, of Alabaster, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. She was born July 11, 1954 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Hubert W. Hinson and Ann Ruth Jernigan Hinson.

"Kathy" graduated from Huffman High School before attending Samford University. Her professional career was in construction lending at Regions Bank, from which she recently retired.

Kathy loved reading mystery books and spending time with her family, especially attending her grandchildren's many sporting activities. She and Frank, her husband of 50 years, are members at First Baptist Church of Alabaster.

In addition to Frank, Kathy is survived by two daughters, Melissa Neeley McKim (Brandon) and Katie Neeley Lee (James), all of Alabaster; four grandchildren, Bethany Lee, Neeley McKim, Maddie McKim, and Nora McKim; and one brother, Wayne Hinson (Linda) of Mobile, Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Immediately following the visitation, the family and friends will have the graveside service at 1 p.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
