The daughter of Fred and Evelyn Love, sister of Linda
Love Hewitt and Judith Love Fields, sister-in-law to Robert
Hewitt and Melvin Fields, and aunt of Holly Fields Carter and
Doug Fields, went to her heavenly rest on February 22, 2015.
She loved her work at Brown Mechanical Contractors
from which she was retired. She enjoyed the challenge of
dealing with regulators, bankers, and bonding companies.
A big love of her life was her work with animal rescue.
Any animal in need had a friend in Kay.
The funeral service will be at Ridout's Southern Heritage
Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama at 2:00 p.m. Thursday
Following the visitation which will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to
the Shelby County Humane Society, 381 McDow Road,
Columbiana, AL 35051.
