Jeremy Moujoodi, a beloved husband and father of three boys, died suddenly from natural causes on July 28, 2021, at the age of 33. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Kelly Moujoodi, and three sons, Levi (5), Liam (3), and Landon (11mo). Jeremy is also survived by his parents, Akbar Moujoodi and Meg Fowler (Mark Fowler), his brother, Justin Moujoodi (JeriKay, sons Zeke and Traxton), his uncle Mike McMillan (Cathy), and cousin Marie (Cody, daughter Abby).
Jeremy is a long-time resident of Hoover, AL and was a graduate of Hoover High School in 2006. He competed as a collegiate track and field and cross country athlete at Troy University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree. He then went on to UAB to earn his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and was a practicing Physician Assistant.
Jeremy has been a lifelong distance runner, competing at an elite level in the Birmingham area up until his death. He was a devoted father who adored his three boys and would never miss an opportunity to spend time with them. A true family man, he valued quality time together. Although family was important, his most important relationship was with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ. He has run his final race and we were cheering for him the entire way.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 31st at the Chapel at Church of the Highlands Grants Mill campus. Visitation will be 11am-1pm, with the funeral service beginning at 1pm.
Any donations can be made to the Lakeshore Foundation in Jeremy’s honor.
