She was born in Huntsville, Arkansas on December 26th, 1930. In 1949, she met and married her best friend and the love of her life, Gerald Ware Pack.
As the wife of a career Army Officer she supported, encouraged, and enabled her husband’s rise from an enlisted man to a Lieutenant Colonel while raising their four daughters and traveling the world. She was an avid bridge player, voracious reader, as well as an accomplished cook, artist, and seamstress.
Born to Melvin and Gladys Lawson on December 26, 1930, she is predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald Pack. She is survived by her daughters; DeAnna Lia of Vernon, CT, Patricia Frasier and her husband Randy of Plant City, FL, Aletha Friedel of Midland, GA, and Susan Willis of Hoover, AL. She adored her 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Flo Easley of Huntsville, AR.
