Mac is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Charlene Hickman McNeill and his two sons, Heath Edward McNeill and Luke Henry McNeill. He is also survived by his parents, Franklin and Patsy McNeill (Norwood, NC), his sister, Trisha (Rowe) Henderson (Clemson, SC), and his brother Dennis (Charlotte) McNeill (Greenville, SC). Mac had two nephews, Brock Hardy and Cam Hardy, and three nieces, Claire (Hardy) Douthit, Isla McNeill, and Bellamy McNeill.
Mac graduated from North Carolina State University and was a previous owner and the Senior Vice President at Innovative Combustion Technology in Pelham, AL for 28 years. He was also a faithful member of Hunter Street Baptist Church.
A devoted father to his boys, Mac enjoyed watching them participate in lacrosse, baseball, and bass fishing; he cheered on the NC State Wolfpack and was an avid NCIS fan.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26 at Hunter Street Baptist Church in the chapel. The family will receive guests beginning at 10:30 AM; the service will begin at 12 PM.
