May 18, 1937-March 15, 2015, Age 77, of Birmingham passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 18, 1937. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years David Kenneth Shannon Sr. Gloria is survived by her son David Kenneth Shannon Jr. (Terri), her grandchildren Ken Shannon (Leslie), Courtney Shannon, and Sarah Shannon. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 10- 11 A.M followed by a service beginning at 11 A.M. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow.
