Curtis was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 10, 1968, and graduated from Pelham High School. On June 1, 1991, Curtis married the love of his life, Kelli Waters.
Curtis loved life. Although he suffered from physical pain through the years, he always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He loved his work at EZ Scaffold, Inc., his coworkers, and his clients, who became some of his closest friends. Curtis found great joy in “closing a deal.” He was a big Alabama fan and loved watching football, basketball, and baseball. He was also a big fan of racing. Above all, Curtis loved his family. He was selfless, kind, generous, and was always willing to help someone in need. He turned strangers into friends and friends into family.
His legacy will be one of hard work, perseverance, selflessness and kindness; but most of all love. He will be greatly missed by many.
Curtis is preceded in death by his triplets, Conner, Caleb, and Cameron Jones; his father, Curtis Allen Jones; nephew, Zachary Kayyali; and father-in-law, Billy E. Waters.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 31 years, Kelli Waters Jones; his children, Curtis Jones II; Caitlin Jones (Lane Johnson); and Cole Jones; grandchildren, Ryyon Jones; Isla McMon; and Penelope Johnson.
