Daphne Renee Feltman, age 61 of Pelham, Alabama passed away on June 8, 2024. She was born on December 21, 1962 in Suffolk, Virginia. She was a graduate of Samford University and worked as a registered nurse for 34 years. If you knew Daphne, you loved her. She was a faithful member of Church of the Highlands. She had a strong faith in God, and shared that with others by leading and hosting small groups. She loved others with a joyful heart, even while facing her own battle with ALS. One of her favorite titles in life was “Minnie,” and her two precious grandchildren absolutely adored her. She has been a shining example to be faithful in all things. We find comfort in imagining her hearing, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” and knowing she is healed and whole, worshipping her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wade Feltman, father Ernest Uriah Vaughan, and brother Michael E. Vaughan. She is survived by her sons Spencer Feltman (Caroline), Evan Feltman (Jennifer); beloved grandchildren Monroe Elizabeth Feltman and Clark Henry Feltman; mother Alice Faye Vaughan; sisters Julie Lovelady (Tony), and Lisa DeVasure (J.R.); nieces Rachel Peterson, Sarah Peterson, Rebekah Peterson, and nephews Josh Worley, Taylor Parker, and Jonathan Peterson.
A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at the Riverchase Campus of Church of the Highlands on June 12, 2024 at 11:30 am at 9013 Helena Road, Pelham, AL 35124. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Jimmie Hale Mission, P.O. Box 10472, Birmingham, AL 35202.
