Christopher John Statt, 55, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born in Rochester, New York on June 5, 1969. Chris graduated from the University at Buffalo with a degree in Business Administration, summa cum laude.
He married Malou Hughes Statt on August 21, 2004 and had three children, Brenner, Henning and Annecy.
Over the course of his career, Chris served in finance and operational roles at companies including Prudential Financial, McRae Communications, Luckie & Company and most recently, Renfroe.
Chris volunteered and served as an Elder at Redstone Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Chris spent his spare time studying the Bible and prophecy. He will be remembered as a dedicated follower of Christ, and an amazing husband and father, dedicated to protecting and serving his family and friends.
He is survived by wife, Malou Statt; children, Brenner, Henning and Annecy Statt; mother, Valerie Statt; and father John Statt.
A celebration of Chris’ life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel at Grant’s Mill campus of Church of the Highlands located at 4700 Highlands Way Irondale, Alabama. Visitation immediately preceding at 1:00 PM.
