She was the daughter of the late John Rufus Feltman and Loysine “Lois” Carter Feltman. She married Michael Gavin Johnstone; they had four children.
Cathy is survived by her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Calvert (Scott), her sons James “Daniel” Johnstone (Rebecca) and Lance Johnstone (Dominique), her sisters Lola Sotiropoulos (Costa) and Linda Myers (Wilson), her grandchildren Carter Johnstone, Mason Milazzo, Percey Johnstone, Megan Calvert, Caleb Johnstone, Cooper Johnstone, Connor Johnstone, Kinsey Johnstone, Ashlyn Johnstone, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cathy was preceded in death by her eldest son, Michael Gavin Johnstone, Jr (Sherri)., her sister Celia Thornton (Leonard), and her parents.
A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held Friday, April 15, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Visitation will follow the service.
