He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Breet H. Bangle, Sr, and his son Jeffrey K. Bangle.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia Dawkins Bangle; son, Breet “Chuck” M. Bangle (Sharon) of Morrison, CO; daughter, Cindy B. Thornton (Jim) of Alabaster; 4 grandchildren- Shayne Arnwine (Kim), Matthew and Ali Thornton, Katrina Williamson Krieger (Bob) of Fort Collins, CO; 5 great-grandchildren, Logan and Ava Arnwine, Porter Thomas, and Kilian and Aspen Krieger. He is also survived by one sister, Jackie Huling, and her family.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Brian K. Adler and his staff of Alabama Oncology for his many years of compassionate and dedicated care of our loved one.
A funeral service will be held at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his name to New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Youth Fund.
