Sean Raker

He was born September 3, 1973 in Peoria to Henry Anthony and Margaret Janean (Mackeldon) Raker. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Raker and one aunt, Jennie Lee.

Surviving are seven siblings, Mary (Joseph) Sofia of Huntley, Theresa Raker of New Hampshire, Stephanie Ann Probasco and Yvonne “Tina” Noke, both of Pekin, Anthony (Teresa) Raker of East Peoria, Terry (Joyce) Hazelman of South Pekin and Robin (James) Arnold of Brimfield and several nieces and nephews.

Sean enjoyed collecting comic books, playing putt-putt golf, fishing and bowling with Special Olympics.

His mission in life was to help others, placing others ahead of himself. Another of his greatest joys in life were spending time with his nieces and nephews.

His memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
