Robert J Whitby

He was born June 5, 1992 in Peoria to Robert D. and Nikki Lynn (Brown) Whitby.

Surviving are his father, Robert (Stacy) Whitby of Creve Coeur; his mother, Nikki Robertson of Colorado; one daughter, McKenzie Whitby; two sisters, Ashley Nicole Whitby of Creve Coeur and Amber Danielle Whitby of Peoria Heights; and his grandparents, Robert L. and Gertrude Whitby of Peoria Heights and Joyce and Kim Schneider of East Peoria. He also leaves a niece/adopted sister, Amia Whitby and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Dillon Fisher.

Robert worked construction with Whitby Construction in Creve Coeur. He enjoyed playing the guitar, liked listening to music and enjoyed spending time with friends. He also enjoyed outdoor activities and swimming.

His funeral will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Jeff Leeman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Private burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
