He was born September 25, 1963 in St. Charles, Missouri to William and Diana (Jackson) Roach. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his mother, Diana Roach of Pekin; three children, Jackson (Nicole) Roach of Germantown Hills, Olivia Roach of Chicago and Schaefer Roach of Pekin; one granddaughter, Evelyn Roach of Germantown Hills; one sister, Megan (Brian) Beecham of Pekin and one niece, Diana (Brady) Sevier of Pekin.
Pat had worked at Komatsu for 15 years as a senior design engineer, where he designed hydraulic systems for mining trucks before retiring in 2002.
He had a passion for playing bass and listening to music. He built many historically accurate naval model ships which won competitions, and was a history enthusiast. In addition, Pat built computers and optimized their performance. Most importantly, he was a father who loved spending time with his children and watching them grow up.
A gathering celebrating Patrick’s life will be held from 4 to 8 pm, Friday, September 13, 2024 at 415 Mackenzie Place, Germantown Hills. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
