Pamela Jo Hall

Born June 29, 1944 in Pekin to John and Doris (Ball) Sorenson, she married John David “Jack” Hall on June 10, 1990 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Curtis Cornwell of Pekin; five grandchildren, Amber Cornwell, Andrew Cornwell, Aaliyah Herod, Landin McClary and Jackson McClary; two great-granddaughters, Mary and Ember and one brother, John (Susie) Sorenson of Mapleton

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Brian Michael “Beef” Cornwell on August 8, 2021 in Peoria.

Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to read, crochet and play on the computer.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin. Pam was a former trustee and firefighter with Schaeferville Fire Protection District. She also was a former member of Celestial City Chapter #333, Order of the Eastern Star and Victoria Shrine 83, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor James C. McClarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
