Michael Paul Carlock

Born on February 21, 1970 in Pekin to Paul D. and L. Caron (Watson) Carlock, he married Cindy L. Grogan on May 10, 2008 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Pekin; two step-children, Craig Haynes of Bloomington, Indiana and Chelsi Haynes of Bartonville; two grandchildren, Marley Sinks and Charlie Sinks; two sisters, Carla Houle and Jenny (Shane) Frampton, both of Pekin and four nieces and nephews, David Houle, Paul Houle, Garrett Frampton and Olivia Frampton, all of Pekin. He also leaves his in-laws, William and Carol Grogan of Pekin.

He was a 1988 graduate of Pekin Community High School.

Mike worked for Bob Grimm Chevrolet in Morton as an auto body mechanic for many years, last working on May 4th.

He loved his country, church and family and was passionate about cars, motorcycles, guns and coins.

He was a member of Central Life Church in Pekin.

His funeral will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Keith Moore will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral.
