Born December 9, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri to Frank Bert and Ruth R. (Nash) Noble, she married Don E. Potts on June 5, 1987 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lynda M. (Wayne) Whitley of Pekin and Lori R. Darr of North Pekin; two sons, David C. Darr of North Pekin and Darren J. (Brenda) Darr of Pekin; two step-sons, Rick L. (Frankie) VanNattan of Pekin and Shawn L. Potts of North Pekin; one step-daughter, Terra S. (Brad) Degolyer of Pekin; fourteen grandchildren; and one half-brother, Joseph M. Noble of Arizona.
Her parents, step-father (Roscoe Cook), and one step-sister preceded her in death.
She was a 1963 graduate of Kirksville (Missouri) High School.
Patty worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 2002 as a systems operator at building KK in East Peoria. She and her husband owned and operated Pottsie's Place in Pekin since 2000.
A member of the American Pool Association, Patty enjoyed playing pool and was on pool leagues for many years. She also was a member of the North Pekin AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former committee member for the South Pekin Railroad Days and coordinated the Golden Spike hunt for several years.
Patty loved the color purple and collected frog items.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
