Marjorie Loretta Lunderville

Born November 17, 1934 in Peoria to William Ray and Myrtle Marie (Deschaine) Heaton, she married Delmar Deiss on January 25, 1953 in Pekin. She later married Duane Lunderville on September 21, 1968 at Long Beach Naval Station in Long Beach, California. The spent many years traveling and living in many parts of the country. Duane died August 2, 2011 in Barron, Wisconsin. She also was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Marjorie is survived by two devoted sons, Delmar (Kathie) Deiss of Pekin and Robert (Amy) Deiss of Mapleton; four grandchildren, Rob (Kendra) Deiss of Ashland, Ohio, Ryan (Jill) Deiss of Mackinaw, Troy (DeLayne) Deiss of Metamora and Michele (Ben) Caruana of Galesburg; seven great-grandchildren and two sisters.

She was a longtime waitress and also had worked in housekeeping in the hotel industry.

Marjorie enjoyed house parties, getting together with friends, dancing and music. She was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.

She will be buried in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spooner, Wisconsin at a later date. Per her wishes, no services are planned. Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
