Gary R. Parlier, 70, of Pekin (formerly of Peoria) passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Unity Point Health-Pekin.
He was born on July 10, 1951 in Peoria to Raymond Merle and Corrine Elaine (Wynn) Parlier. They preceded him in death along with his ex-wife, Carol A. Brown and brother, William Parlier.
Gary is survived by his brother, Terry (Julie) Parlier and two children, Jeffery M. (Sara Schweigert) Parlier and Katherine M. Parlier and two grandchildren, Caley Parlier and Caitlyn Cornell.
Gary was a former student at Manual High School and having completed culinary school became well known for his cooking and his famous homemade Bleu Cheese Dressings.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have accorded.
Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin is assisting the family.
