Bonnie Arlene Davis

She was born December 29, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri to Argus and Erma (Ellis) Meeks.

Surviving are five children, Donald Davis, III of Tremont, Anthony Davis of Clearwater, Florida, Dalana Davis of Morton, Joseph Davis of Tremont and Nellie (Robert) Richardson of Washington; seven grandchildren, Donald, Jacob, Katie, Nicholas, Drew, Kristin and Isabella; one great-grandchild, Averi and four siblings, LaVone Fenner, Wanda Evans, Melba Ritter and Roland “Podie” Meeks.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clifton Raines.

She graduated from Tremont High School and gained a Series 6 insurance license. While working as an insurance broker for many years, Bonnie helped countless individuals in her community.

With unconditional love and a pure, golden heart, she volunteered at the Mission Mart and attended all of her grandchildren’s events, as well as befriended everyone she met. Bonnie’s special connection with Jesus was an important part of her life. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with her friends at the Creekwood Apartments.

Private family services will be held at a later date with interment occurring in Prairie Haven Cemetery.
