She was born August 29, 1991 in Pekin to Darren S. and Lori Marie (Hill) Miller.
Surviving are her father of North Pekin; one sister, Amanda Miller of North Pekin; paternal grandparents, Susan and Lyman Miller of Pekin and maternal grandparents, Jerry and Glenna Hill of Pekin and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Alaina was preceded in death by her mother on January 26, 2009 in Pekin.
Alaina was a talented writer, who liked to hunt and fish. She had many friends and a big heart. She also had a strong passion for music and loved getting lost in a good book.
Her funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Pekin.
