Roy William Coleman

Roy William Coleman, Financial Investor, Entrepreneur and resident of Deira, Dubai died unexpectedly on January 30, 2024 at the age of 56. Roy is survived by his dad Roy; Jessica Ongala; his daughter Chandilyn; his siblings Ronald, Marilyn, Roger, Robert, and Teresa; and he is predeceased by his mother, Marilyn, sister, Karen Wigfall; his great grandmother Frankie Lee Moultrie, grandmothers, Willie Lee Williams, Nellie Mae Coleman; and his grandfathers, Marion Williams and Mayfield Coleman. Roy was born in Houston on December 25, 1967 to Roy and Marilyn Coleman. He graduated from Ross Shaw Sterling High School in 1986 where he participated in Basketball, Track and Field, ROTC and Physical Fitness Team. Roy worked as an Entrepreneur, Project Manager, Modeling & Fashion Designer. Roy worked in his later life as a Financial Planner/Investor for various Financial Institutions in Dubai. He was a devoted father and vivid Entrepreneur. He saw possibilities when no one else could. He enjoyed relaxing on various Islands and was quick to take a spontaneous trip on a Jet plane to a remote island just to kick-back, relax, and chill. Roy enjoyed traveling to countries, and always sought to encourage his family to, “Get out and Travel to see the World!” He was quick to say, “You know, there’s a WHOLE big world out there!” He was a problem-solver who always took on challenging and unwanted projects at work. He was a spiritual man who loved the Lord. He would often say, “Be the Light so others can see your Light,” and “Always be a positive Encouragement for others.” He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. A Memorial and Funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on February 4th at Forest Park South Funeral Home, Pearland, Texas.
