Sherry was born January 8, 1938, in Panola County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Roy Stubbs and Dora Sanders Stubbs. She resided in Rankin County for many years and retired from Vickers-Eaton Aerospace where she served as an executive assistant.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Talmon Evon Russell.
Survivors include daughters, Sharon (Candy) Russell, Pamela Russell Pearson, and Diane Russell Bracken; brothers, Frederick Stubbs, and Erwin Stubbs; sisters, Camilla Slack, and Mary Alice Burton; 8 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
