Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 10 am - 11 am at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, MS.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am on Thursday, October 8, 2020, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood South Memorial Park, in Jackson, MS.
Nell was born in Pelahatchie, MS on October 8, 1929, to Carey Moore and Bessie Moore. She graduated from Forest Hill High School in Jackson, MS. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Williams the day after graduation, on May 13, 1948. They spent almost sixty years in Jackson raising their family. Nell worked as a bookkeeper at Southwest drugstore, in Jackson, MS, for over thirty years.
She was a lifelong member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She worked in the nursery every Sunday and loved every child as they were her own. She loved the Lord and loved worshiping Him. This was evident in her life and she taught her family these same values.
Nell was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Williams; and siblings, Grace Moore, Vilous Moore, Wilma Marble, and Sybil Brown.
Her vivacious life and love for the Lord will live on in the life of her family, daughter, Sharon Stanley; son, Kendall Williams (Anita); brother, Ruel Moore; sister, Betty Spell (Charles); four grandchildren, Amy Williams, Stefanie Nelson (Justin), Kristopher Williams, and Steven Stanley (Kristin); and three great-grandchildren, Breland Nelson, Brady Nelson, and Maleigh Williams.
